The Perfect Study Table

No wonder what kind of studies you’re pursuing, a neat study table is essential for your concentration. A messy study table can lead you towards distractions or worse, kill all your motivation to start working on an assignment or project you are so enthusiastic to work on.

As I was sitting in my computer room, which also happens to be my study room, I glanced at the study table which was full of all types of things like clothes, watches, spray bottles, leather belts etcetera. Here is how it looked like.

It just took two minutes to put everything where it belonged and a clean study table was right in front of me. Here is a snap of the table after it was fixed.

As you can see, a neat and clean study table is right in front of you so mission accomplished! Unfortunately, there’s no where for this Iron to go right now so we have to live with it.

This whole task certainly made me feel a lot better and now I’m feeling motivated to open up my laptop and start working on a software project I was planning to initiate since few hours ago. To be very honest, I would have still cleaned up my study table because it distracts me a lot. But I would have done it later at the night when I had been going to the bed. Doing this thing early motivated me to write this blog and to start working on a project as well.

We learned from last week’s sessions and the courses that followed up, that leadership is all about making small positive changes. This activity reminded me of the importance of these little positive steps as it motivated me to start focusing on the tasks at hand.
